Yesterday Architectural Digest Editor in Chief Margaret Russel welcomed us at AD Loves NYDC, Architectural Digest’s Favorite finds from the New York Design Center.
Among participating showrooms were Dennis Miller Associates with the Wendell Chair as a AD pick. My pick at this showroom was the Nexus Round Dining Table with Lazy Susan, clean, beautiful and practical.
Desiron’s Lexington Wall Mirror, another AD pick was a big hit! This oversized tilted smoky mirror would make a BIG statement in any room.
In the elegant gallery WoodWrights showcasing their wide plank flooring Architectural Digest loved the Reclaimed Wood so in vogue of actuality in our efforts to become more green. My personal coup de coeur though was the black walnut, sooo warm!
Arteriors was as always so good in their displays. The AD winner there was the Draco Dining Table. It personally reminds me of a dragon, maybe that’s how the got the name? Check out the surface of the table, are these scales?
Among the mingling and the chatting, the alcohol and the amuse-gueles that I vowed not to touch, I am desperate for something fresh! What could be better that these amazing display of juicy peaches at Julian Chichester? Do i dare to touch???
AD loves the Raven Bookcase by Celerie Kemble and I could not agree more! A mix of Asian and Hollywood Glamour, what is there not to love? Alone or paired side to side they are perfect for displaying a noice collection of objects.
On my way out I stop to admire the Organic Wood Sculpture that stands its own on a console.
My regret: one of my favorite showrooms in the NYDC, Stephanie Odegard, did not participate.
Thank you Margaret Russel and the participating showrooms of the New York design center for and enjoyable evening.
